Sustainability – Traditional upholstery is rather unique in that all materials are natural and compostable, modern upholstery is slightly more challenging, foam is an essential part of modern furniture historically but I’m always looking and trying new alternatives or using traditional techniques in different ways. I have worked on Vegan suites, sustainable cushions, wool mattrasses, using traditional techniques to create wild and wonderful pieces like The Tea Cup Chair. All options can be discussed and always open to new ideas and ways to build beautiful furniture.
